From the the prototype we started with a 150mm PFC Chassis and yoke to support the front drum with 6mm drums, with an 18 HP Briggs and Stratton petrol engine, the hydraulic system was unique with an Oil Cooler in the loop to look after the oil. All machines come with an hour metre and drink holder as standard
Moving on we went to a 200mm PFC yoke to support the front drum, more weight and stronger. Next on the Evolution was matching the yoke to a 200mm PFC chassis for standardization of steel orders and a laser cut and pressed engine cage and a plastic Bareco molded roof.
A neighbouring hydraulic company, Hyeteco Pty Ltd saw a roller going onto a trailer to be fitted with hydraulics, one of the directors approach me to offer their services. Hyteco designed and new system using their suppliers, a few things were tweeked and we moved onto Kohler engines. Kohler only had a 20.5 hp V-Twin engine ( was not going back to a 14 hp, even though we don't actually require any more power than that)So the engine hardly does any work. With this engine we had to supply a fuel tank, so an 11 litre remote tank was mounted behind the operators seat.
Next weight gain was to make the rear drum out of 10mm instead of 6mm.
Paint preparation is done by Thermal Edge Coatings, in the shed directly in front of the global headquarters of Terra Firma Rollers
So basically raw materials arrive in the driveway and leave as an operation roller, not having left our block, all done onsite.
ALL THESE IMPROVEMENTS THAT HAVE EVOLVED, THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE PRICE RISE
